Cornell University trustees meet in Ithaca March 25-26

The Cornell University Board of Trustees will have its regular spring semester meeting in Ithaca March 26. Some sessions are open to the public.

The full board will meet from 9 to 11:45 a.m. and from 1:15 to 5 p.m. Thursday, March 26, in the Statler Hotel Amphitheater on campus. The first 30 minutes of the morning session will be open to the public. Topics will include a report from President David Skorton; a report on the Student Assembly by its president, Sarah Balik; and a report on the Graduate and Professional Student Assembly by its president, Richard Walroth.

In addition to the meeting of the full board on Thursday, the following board committees with open sessions will meet Wednesday, March 25:

  • The Joint Finance and Buildings and Property Committees will meet at 4 p.m. in the Statler Hotel Amphitheater. A brief open session at the start of the meeting will include approval of the annual status report.
  • The Committee on University Relations will meet at 1:45 p.m. in the Statler Hotel Amphitheater. An open session from 1:45 to 2:15 p.m. will include the annual updates on Cornell Cooperative Extension and on federal, state and community relations.

A limited number of tickets for the public to the open session of the full board meeting on Thursday are available beginning at noon on Wednesday at the Information and Referral Center in the lobby of Day Hall.
